Who we are
About TYB
Founded in 2003 (originally as Noah’s Ark) and renamed Tshepo Ya Bana in 2009, we are a non-profit organization based in Muldersdrift, Krugersdorp. Our community is largely made up of families facing poverty, unemployment, and the daily realities of HIV & AIDS, TB, and other chronic illnesses. Many children are left orphaned or vulnerable, and households struggle to access essential health and social services. At Tshepo Ya Bana, we step in as a lifeline. We nurture orphans and vulnerable children, support families in crisis, and provide critical health and social programs that empower our community to thrive.

Keletso serves as the Finance Administrator for our HTS and COVID-19 programs. Through his dedication, hard work, and eagerness to learn, he has consistently demonstrated the skills and commitment needed to carry out his responsibilities with excellence—delivering on every task and mandate entrusted to him.

One of the most dedicated members of our team, Rachel is deeply passionate about the work she does. She rose through the ranks in 2022 under the PWUD programme, introduced to the organization by NACOSA, and has since proven herself as a driving force in making a real impact within our communities.

OVC Administrator
Lorato is at the heart of our Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) programme, ensuring that every child receives the care, support, and opportunities they deserve. With a compassionate spirit and strong organizational skills, she coordinates case referrals, home visits, and community dialogues, while also keeping daily operations running smoothly. Her dedication helps us create safer, nurturing environments where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

Portia, our HR Officer, is recognized for her unwavering dedication and firm approach in ensuring that workplace policies are implemented fairly and consistently. Since rising through the ranks in 2022, she has continued to excel, bringing structure, discipline, and heart to the organization.
